In March 2006, we opened Haley & Abigails Barking Babes Pet Boutique. Haley and Abigail are Shih-Tzu/Poodles, and are sisters. The girls, as we refer to them, both celebrate their birthdays in September Abigail will celebrate her first birthday in September 2006, and Haley will turn two.
We started dressing both Haley and Abigail when they were six weeks old. It almost became a full time job searching for just the right outfit. At times, I felt so frustrated, that my first thought was to open a pet boutique. With a blink of an eye, we were turning on the hot-pink-and-purple bone-shaped sign for Haley & Abigails Barking Babes Pet Boutique. We were open for business!
Haley & Abigail are part of our sales staff. The girls greet each customer with so much excitement and enthusiasm it usually brings a smile and even laughter from our patrons when they enter the store. With Haley & Abigails warm welcome, the soft lighting from the chandelier, the warm glow from the fireplace, and the delicious aroma from the vintage oak candy case overflowing with colorful gourmet treats, Barking Babes provides our customers with a shopping experience truly like no other, and has our four-legged customers drooling with anticipation.
